Hello Benny Boy!

Got out yesterday with Demodigger for a lunch time hunt... We decided to swap
sites and point out what had been found previously in those sites. We were able
to get in a little hunt time and then I had to head back to work.

I pulled 3 coins for the day (wheatback cent, clad dime, and a half dollar), some
sort of piece of jewelry and spotted a nice looking marble laying on the ground:

Never thought I'd find one of these silver halves... that was a fun find and fun to
share the outing with DD.

Happy hunting all! image

i was shocked to see rick get that half. i consider the franklin, to be the hardest to find, of all halves.

Nice find on the franklin image, I can say years ago I lost one while metal detecting in my parents yard...I was carrying one around to check the accuracy of my cheap radio shack detector and I placed the half down on the bumper of my fathers car and walked away- didn't notice a short time later he drove away. I walked up and down the street for hours looking for it- it was probably 1 of maybe 4 or 5 silver coins I owned at the time.

    Thanks for the replies everyone!

    And Kevin-
Ouch! That one hurts just to hear about it. Wonder if someone found it later on the road...
probably looked like road kill by then though. image
