Looks like gem to me but I'll wait on those who are on this series like white on rice, and actually know what they are typing about. jws

    Harshly cleaned AU.

It resides in an old green pcgs holder au55.

I lost out on it tonight on TELETRADE auction, because their website sucks, and did not recognize my bid, which was 23 higher than the final realized bid.

    Their website blows.

I really would have liked that coin, especially with my $50 teletrade coupon.

It might have been a blessing. it looks overdipped and without luster to me.

I agree.......lifeless look to it, dull. The holder doesn't mean anything.

I think it looks quite dipped as well . As for T.T ; once you learn how it works (with hands on trial and error and experience )
I think you will find Tele.Trades system to be very user friendly .

I have noticed that TT's images do seem lack-luster. I'd be hard pressed to say that PCGS graded an obviously cleaned coin...not to say that it hasn't happened before - but I doubt the coin was "cleaned"...
...conserved may be a better description...

Nice looking coin which will look better in hand, I'm sure.

Sorry for your bidding irregularities with TT; I guess I've been lucky.

This coin here is on TT tonight, also a PCGS AU55 but in a newer holder, I think you will agree it is not near as nice as the 1st one, whih I will repost below.

I think the 2nd one here was an upgrade candidate. The 1st photo in this reply looks like an overgraded coin to me, especially compared to the bottom one.

O well, I learned what not to do on TT so I guess I will be better informed.
