It has a certain appeal. Are the colors accurate? What's the object at the bottom of the frame?

the colors are accurate, that thing at the bottom is a little wooden stand I fabricated to hold the coin at a slight angle to better capture the color of the coin.

I figured the colors were accurate -- judging by the bright red background -- but was wondering if there was a chance the golden hues were due to tungsten lighting.

I'm hoping to make a trip up to B&H in NYC to get a hands-on look at copystands. Another thing I will be interested in looking at is "holding wax" -- an inert, pliable substance used to hold jewelry in place. There is also this "tilting stand" shown at their website. You guys have any tips on hardware like that?
