Here's a nice 1927 D....

CoinResource · January 21, 2007 12:31AM

Love it!

cape · January 21, 2007 12:35AM

whats the grade? i like it but i feel it is enhanced.

ram1946 · January 21, 2007 12:51AM

I like this one a lot even though PCGS calls it a 62 (strike quality?). It has some nice sunset colors and is even nicer to the eye than from the image. Someone is running a thread about coins you wouldn't part with at 2x price guides. This would be one of my choices. I prefer to belive it's OT. Please don't burst my bubble.

The 27 D is an MS 64... image is accurate, great toning, weak strike keeps it from grading higher.

This is another coin whose subtle coins present great eye appeal (IMO). It's a 66. It's also prominently displayed as the background on my monitor.

Edited to add "...subtle pastels..."

Here are some blurry images of some of my others from albums, etc... range of grades from lightly circulated to MS65...

Here's a pretty tough date--1918-D.

My favorite toned buff. I've seen them with hints of violet, but never one so utterly purple!
