Experimental Rinse Sacagawea

I think I have one, it's got a brownish tint to it. Is it worth having slabbed? Should i sell it raw? Is it worth selling?

What kind of prices do these things command?

Thanks in advance for responses.

SilverEagles92, take a look at eBay, I've seen several there, prices should be obtainable there.

It looks very much like that one. I'm working on some photos so you guys can see.

Mine's a 2000-D though. Did they make them then?

How can you tell the difference between an experimental rinse Sac and a plain old regular dumpy looking Sac? Most of the ones I see look like they've been rinsed in sewage.

Here's the story in Mint Error News Magazine of the original hoard that I sold. Don't skip over the "editor's note" at the beginning since it updates the article from 3 years ago. I sold out but recently Fred Weinberg has a small group for sale.

its hard to say from the scan. the only way to be absolutely sure is to send it for grading and see. it does look like it may be an experimental rinse.

It doesn't look like it. And if it were it would be the only 2000d known.

I do not think it is the experimental wash. It looks more like a circulated coin, in which case,as already mentioned, the coin will turn the brownish color as your coin.

if its got a bluish then i would say no its not an experimental rinse.

You'd be better served just spending it. It will never be worth more than one dollar (in our lifetimes) and inflation will just whittle it away. Spend it now to get maximum return on the coin.
