Where are all the MS70 $10 Plats

clackamas · January 19, 2007 4:56PM

I have only seen one pop up on the bay in the last week and it went for $950. These are the most common in mintage and in grade in MS70. Where are they?

itsnotjustme · January 19, 2007 6:03PM

I don't know where they are. I guess many have been sold as part of 4-coin MS70 sets. According to the pop reports, the $25 is toughest in 70.

That's interesting! A week ago on Sat. Jan. 13 the
$10 MS70 Plat Pop was the lowest at 95!

THIS $10 MS70 SOLD FOR $949.99 BEST OFFER!

Wondercoin has 2 MS70's here and is raising his prices now!

This is the highest price I've seen so far for these coins. Think they'll keep going up?

notwilight · January 21, 2007 12:34AM

Lots of people collect the 1/10 oz gold and platinum. Right now I'm selling the gold ones by the dozen. I think this is always the most popular denomination with average buyers.

CC2GO · January 29, 2007 1:16AM

I have one! Check BST! Also, there is one on the bay.
A PCGS MS69 $10 Plat just sold for $722.00!!

Mine is still at the Mint.

1/10 oz. = $1,125.01

......just minutes ago.

LALASD4 · January 29, 2007 1:29AM

Crazy prices, the coin is so tiny.

<< <i>Crazy prices, the coin is so tiny. >>

Actually, considering the fact that the 1999-W $5 Error Gold coins are at $940 in the PCGS Price Guide,
and the fact that these plats have the W-Mint mark, are an inaugural issue, are the lowest minted coin
in nearly 100 years, and are platinum, these prices are bargains!

jmski52 · January 29, 2007 2:00AM

I had 2 of my 1/10th ozers grade MS-70, and they are somewhere between Newport Beach and here. The other 10 Plats were all MS-69s. Rats!

An MS-70 just sold on ebay at $1,125.00 with 12 bids.

LALASD4 · January 29, 2007 2:05AM

Where are all the MS70 $10 Plats

There is 301 of them, so they got to be somewhere, I guess there a just more 1/10oz. collectors.

puritan9 · January 29, 2007 3:47AM

If someone has the 1/4, 1/2 & 1 oz already graded Ms70 from PCGS, paying a lot for the 1/10 platinum is cheap now. Wait until later when you want to complete your set. You will have to pay a lot more.
