NewP: 1815 Bust Quarter - Opinions!
Hey Guys,
New purchase! Where I live any kind of Busties are hard to come by. Found this one for a reasonable price.
Was wondering if someone might be able to attribute it.
Thanks,
SM

<< <i>I'm fairly certain it's a B-1. >>
Your 1815 quarter is a B-1. There is only one Browning variety for this date, so attribution is easy.

<< <i>Here is the "E counterstamp" Rich mentioned. Coin is not mine, image from the Russ Logan collection B&M website.
is that from the B & M website or the Logan family website?

Sure does, StopMotion. I and many of the Bust Quarter people think it is possible we will eventually find some documentation that will finally resolve the mystery of the L and E counterstamps on the 1815 and 1825/3 quarters.
