Very sweet coin, Mark...and the image is superb. I could use a copper fix myself about now. I'd venture that it's MS64 even discounting the planchet roughness.
<< <i>PCGS gave it a 64. The die wear and roughness is much more obvious at magnification. >>
I honestly was going to say 64 after I thought the die wear may not have much to do with the final grade, but stuck to my guns. Better under grade then over grade.
I have a question, what is the black spotting by the stars? I ask because I have an 1856 MSRB in an OGH, that has two spots on the reverse that look just like that.
Prost!
Why step over the dollar to get to the cent? Because it's a 55DDO.

Very nice no matter what they gave it.

Is there doubling on the reverse? "TES" of states?

Is the area above the t in cent die wear or a clash?
I knew it would happen.
