Backordered 4pc 2006w Plats

I just got off the phone with a supervisor at the mint customer service. She said there are no more 2006-w plats. I hope she's wrong because I have 2 sets on backorder. Any thoughts?

2006 2 units backordered. Expected to ship on 02/02/2007.(Date seems to get pushed back every day)

My questions is why don't they take them off backordered and state no longer availble or cancel orders.
I have three orders in backoredered status 1-4pc, 2-1oz, 2-1/2ozs
Be nice to know what is happening

I asked that question she said no more 2006-w, they are moving on to 2007.

As long as it is still listed, there is still some hope, althought not much.

If you are in limbo , and your order says back ordered

in process then call the Mint. They can place a check on your

order, as to whether you will receive it or not. It will take 48 - 72

hours for them to get back to you either by phone or by E-Mail.

If anyone thinks they are getting them becasue they are backordered they are on crack. The mint will string it out and then cancell it. If they had them they would send them. I think they do a similar thing as airlines and expect some returns or orders to fall through. Like a flight around Thanksgiving there are just somethings that really do sell out.

No one will return a set that is already valued at 3X

issue price. The only hope, is that some folks will have

problems with their credit cards. I fear that we are lost

little bears.

I heard this problem with the Gold sets and the silver sets, and then, even 3 months later, people got their backordered sets. Im going to think positively and wait patiently, and maybe karma will step in...

My thoughts are now I don't have to figure out how to afford 2007 and 2008 Platinums that complete the set.
