I posted an 1856 Large cent with some rim toning and some blues on the reverse yesterday.

The thread was titled True or False

The main body said:

Yes or No
Good or Bad

You call it !

My thread got zapped. Obviously taken so far off topic that it got deleted.
Now I've gotten my warnings from carolj and a note on the backside from another member asking me where that thread went.
Well anyway,

Was the coin artificially toned ?
I could care less .....ABOUT THE POOF

So, in case it's illegal to copy pictures from ebay (that could have been why the thread got deleted, too)

Joseph and barndog and those other guys who posted yesterday. I value your opinions. The condition looks nice (tho I'm not too fond of toners unless they're in my album) and I looked at the seller's other items and such to get a feel for what he sells. I didn't want to post it like this either, because I was wavering on the piece in my watch list and didn't want to draw attention to it.

Alas, the truth comes out !
