NARU ? ebay cleaning up or Messing up?
I know of 9 ebay sellers some are coin dealers, that have recently received the covenant "No Longer A Registered User" statis....and like myself that has recently been NARU'ed can not get back on and don't know why we were NARU"ed in the first place.......I was a gold power seller with over 10,000 positive feedbacks.....when I sopke to ebay power seller support they suguested I start a new ID.....WTF.....They said my account was not NARU when they look at it.
I think ebay has installed some software to help them clean up but instead it is messing up......
Anyone else having this problem or know of someone else having similar problem?

They didn't tell you why you were NARU'd?

Neither one has anywhere near the "over 10,000 positive feedbacks" you claim to have. What is the NARU'd ID that has all this feedback?

No clue whatsoever as to why? No problems at all up to this point?

So does anyone else find it hysterical that a user named "public-auction" would have nothing but private auctions in his feedback?

Do you mean "coveted"?

Might be an indication of what the suspicious activity was that eBay detected.

OK I'll then why can't the power seller customer support folks I talked to on the phone tell me why I got the boot and why do they tell me I'm not suspended? They claim my account is in good standings and is NOT NARU'd........
And Russ I do not take offense to your statement "So does anyone else find it hysterical that a user named "public-auction" would have nothing but private auctions in his feedback" instead I offer this, I list private auctions because when I bid there are people that search my bid record and out bid me. If the auctions were private they could not "Follow me around." I offer the same privacy to my potential buyers. I have an ebay drop off location, I sell other peoples items with that ID not my items, I could care less what they bring I make my money on the service not the sale. True some folks won't bid on a private auction but look at the feedback my satisfaction rating was not too shaby.

Wasn't my statement - but, only because I didn't think of it first.

Now to offend you...
One suggestion for you, too - if I had to abandon an account with an 8,000+ positive feedback rating, I'd give a link to it in the About Me page of my newly created account. I would want my current bidders to know they weren't dealing with someone who just found eBay last month.

<< <i>That statement wasn't Russ', it was mine. I didn't mean any offense, I just found it extremely ironic.

Sorry for confusing you with Russ.....That is a good idea......I think I'll use it.....Thank you

Most people that were that worried about being "followed around" and being bidded out of auctions would just get a sniper and forget about it.
<< <i>suprised you thought item might be tiffany when its marked 'MADE IN CHINA' >>
Russ, NCNE
<< <i>Actually after looking up your old feedback... might be a good thing to be rid of them. You've had 45 negatives. >>
Ok lets get your numbers straight
All positive feedback received: 11045
Members who left a positive: 8407
which means there were
Return Customers that left Pos 2638
Members who left a negative: 45
Positive Feedback: 99.5% (Geico insurance company nationaly advertises on TV a 97% satisfaction rating)
I would rather have the rating 45 out of 11,090 is not too bad in my opinion......

For a general merchandise consignment seller, that's actually pretty damned good. Take a look at some of the isoldit franchises. Most of them have TERRIBLE feedback.

It is funny because we stated in the auction its made to looks like Tiffany but its marked "Made in China"
The buyer never read the description, we offered to refund and the buyer left negative.....
