Got my 4 PC Plat set today

Just arrived, I don't see MS70's but the coins were still in the holders.

Well, just Love coins, period.
<< <i>Got mine today as well, and they are very nice - I would imagine they all would have to be "69's" if not 70. Like them, no defects to the sharp naked eye. >>
What I se with the $100 coins is a wire rim and it looks as if the mint stacked these and marked up the rims a little. That will preclude 70, at least on my $100.

My 1 oz is perfect except the rim near the nines looks not full struck up or stacking damage??? Therefore not a 70.
The rest have no flaws that I can see with a 16x glass.
Not opened it yet.
<< <i>I just got mine and have not opened the box, I know the minute I do, everything will change about fs and anniversary lable
I'm confused also.
I talked to Shane in custermer service today, and he told me that they had to be sent in in the sealed box in order to get the "First Strike" designation.
Didn't somebody already state that PCGS didn't want the mint boxes?

I have already stated in a previous thread that PCGS will accept the Platinum W UNC without the package being sealed or it can be without the mint packaging. Just make sure they are in the capsules and your package is postmarked by Jan 13. (This came from an email I got from customer service yesterday).

Will they return the capsules, if you ask?
Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...
<< <i>Will they return the capsules, if you ask? >>
I really don't know the answer to that, but if you request the capsules on your submission form and highlight the statement you might stand a chance.
