2006-W Unc. Eagles - mintage thread

I thought that since so many of us here bought into the mint's "W" mania, it would be nice to have a thread to keep track of the mintages.
I believe that all the plats and the fractional gold will be winners, as will the one once gold but, I think, to a lesser degree.
Today I took delivery of three 4-coin gold unc. sets and two half once unc. plats.
Last night I ordered three of the one once un. plats.
As of Dec. 12, NN shows the following mintages:

2006 will go down as the year the US mint played Santa Clause!
I have been collecting the half once platinum proofs since 1997(the year the mint started issuing them). Unfortunately, my set is missing the 2004, as I "dropped the ball" that year.
I have always thought that they were undervalued. Perhaps after this year they will start gaining the recognition I believe they deserve.
Please feel free to update this thread with any new info concerning the mintage figures.

<< <i>Update is that today the 1/4 ounce gold went to backordered status. >>
Numbers, Brian, we want NUMBERS!
My icon IS my coin. It is a gem 1949 FBL Franklin.
Thank you for the info.
The 1/2 and 1/4 are backordered.
If this follows the same pattern as the Plats, a sellout is very near.
Thanks
Brian
<< <i>How can NN or anyone makes estimates? If NN reports 484 haw do you get 3000?
Thanks
Brian >>
Well, I don't think it's too terribly hard to make estimates.
Uncirculated Platinum Sales Started on September 28, 2006 at noon ET.
Example For The 1-Ounce Uncirculated Platinum:
Mintage Figures Reported To NN From The US MINT:
10/02/2006 - 37
10/10/2006 - 59
10/16/2006 - 90
10/22/2006 - 126
10/29/2006 - 153
11/06/2006 - 194
11/20/2006 - 276
11/27/2006 - 490
12/05/2006 - 499
12/12/2006 - 484
Add to this the 1-ounce coins that are part of the 4-coin set,
which as of 12/12/2006 was 1505. Therefore, the total number
of 1-ounce coins sold is 1,989 as of 12/12/2006. Since the 4-coin
set sold out on 12/18/2006 and the 1-ounce option sold out on
12/19/2006, it would probably be a pretty good bet that there
were close to 3,000 1-ounce uncirculated platinum coins sold.
As for me, I'm guessing closer to the 3,500 mark.
I hope I'm wrong -- I'm wishing & praying its under 3,000 though!!
Of course, this doesn't include returns, credit card problems, etc.
Happy Holidays!

He scanned it from the NN.....if he blew it up much, it wouldn't be very readable.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

I Think it say's 209,052 for the 2006-W ASE? Is that correct?
Chas, looks like you are shooting 250 below me on all 5 coins, difference being how many 4 coins sets. I'm ready to see your gold estimates.

You have to add to that the 250,000 from the three coin Silver Anniversary Set plus the 20,000 from the two coin gold & silver set for a total of 479,052 for the 2006-W silver unc.
