Will Stack's 11 page pamphlet on the 1913 Nickel trounce Heritage's 11 lbs. of auction catalogs?

I have not received my Heritage catalogs yet, but I hear that there are approximately 11 lbs. that are coming for the FUN sale (and I hear that there are other catalogs that are not contained in the original shipment). I did, however, receive Stack's emission regarding the 1913 Liberty nickel. The Stack's information consists of 11 whole pages, and the pamphlet is the size of an 8-1/2 x 11 inch piece of paper folded in half. I was expecting a 50+ page minicatalog of hoopla, in addition to what is contained in the actual auction catalog.

This got me thinking. Although I am a big fan of Heritage (and also of Stack's), obviously both firms are taking completely different approaches to the marketing of their upcoming rarities. Stack's is taking a very low key approach, and given the lack of rarity fatigue in their auction, they believe that the nickel will speak for itself and sell itself. Heritage seems to be taking a different approach with a large volume of catalogs for their upcoming sale.

I don't think one approach is better than the other. I just thought it was interesting to see how two different firms handle the publicity of the rarities coming up soon.
