Picked up a ultra-rare 7TF VAM

Ok, I'll end the suspense. It's a VAM-123. Minor rim ding, but I'm convinced it's ok for PCGS to holder. Grade opinions welcome!
BTW, just how rare is this vam really?

Definitely. That and the 7th left star doubling. I hadn't looked for it as I didn't appreciate it was this discernable. Now I am adding it to my mental list.

It is a VAM 123. How rare? Jeff Oxman does not have a BU specimen according to my photos.

Yes, Jack, that is a huge find. You truly suck. These are the best, the ones that you know are good but realize a bit later exactly how good.

Also consider that as far as I know, Jack has cherrypicked twice as many 1878 VAM 44s as VAM 123s. Correct?

True, but both were cleaned. I still have the VG8 though. It's the worst known!

I didn't know anything about this VAM until I read this thread. But judging by the reactions, I guess its something I should have been looking for. Hope I never sold one.

That's a heck of a coin; I'm guessing XF40. I have a VF20 and I'm thrilled to own it. The only other one I've seen is a VF30.

Definitely going to be a pop top, unless you tell us all that you found two in MS, this being the lower grade of the two just to make it more spectacular.
