  • That's a really nice, reflective shot! I like it! image
If you haven't noticed, I'm single and miserable and I've got four albums of bitching about it that I would offer as proof.

  • Thanks.....I took the top plastic cover off and it only took me about 40 shots to get one I liked. There's a couple things I don't like about this shot but I have a life and a job I have to get back to as well. Still I've learned more about photography since I started this tethered biz, so regardless it's win/win.

Excellent shot. What lens did you end up buying?
Who is General Failure, and why is he reading my hard drive?
  • This was taken with my Canon EOS 20D and the 18-55mm IS lens that comes stock with the camera body.

I'd love to see what would happen with a good macro lens and some different lighting. I just figured out tonight my D200 can do Commander mode with the built in flash to fire a wireless flash. The Canon doesn't do that. It will with a flash unit or transmitter but not just the onboard flash. At least I don't think it will.
