Is eBay cleaning house? Shocking amount of NARU's in the last month

I heard of a rumored coin shill ring a few years ago that was huge.
I was just trolling around Elmobay and looking at feedback. Check out all the NARU'ed buyers from this seller since mid-October. Maybe a shill ring? Go back a few pages. It's an astounding amount and the auction pages have been wiped clean too.
Do you think this problem is continuing on the coin front? On Elmobay? How about the auction houses? Do you think they max out your bids with phantom book bids?

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
He appears to be a buyer also in many cases.......Could be a network.....
<< <i>That really is wild. I can't imagine what was going on.

It certainly looks suspicious.
They weren't very creative with the feedback praise. I hate! shills on ebay!!

reminds me of seeing a bluemoon offer on eBay England a couple of days ago
<< <i>Something is very fishy with this one since the item number is the same for all the auctions.
Fishy in this case, but not in the general case. When you have multiples of an item to sell, you can list them all in a single auction. Doesn't happen much with coins, as all coins are unique, but for cheap commodity items it's common.
So many NARUs in this case clearly points to something screwy, tho'...
<< <i>I just bought a case of ASE's off of an Ebay seller, he had a feedback of 13. I paid him, he shipped, and before the case got to me he was NARU'd. The case got here fine, and i wanted to give positive feedback, but because he is NARU, I cant, and he cant. But no problems at all from my prospective. And it was a BIN, so no shilling involved. Odd. >>
If you have a new seller and he suddenly list a bunch of expensive items and starts getting paid a bunch of money, eBay will sometimes temperarily suspend them (naru them) until they can confirm he is legitimite, then they reinstate them. I do believe they did it to a few of our regulars here. It always seems that they suspend the people who turn out to be good and let the ones who turn out to be major scammers run free. (On the other hand they might do a big deal, get suspended and "checked out", and THEN start running their scams.)
It's been out there for a bit.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

This seller is selling e-wallpaper for .01 then will give you positive feedback for the .01, I do not think it is generated from the US by the verbage used.
