George J. Diehl 76, of White Oak, PA died Tuesday, July 4, 2006 at UPMC-McKeesport Hospital. Born June 22, 1930 in McKeesport, PA a son of the late George and Bertha Buchweitz Diehl. A Graduate of McKeesport High School and Rowe Company Electro Mechanical School in Flint, MI; He was a partner and manager of Morgan Music of McKeesport, an originator and partner of White Oak Lanes of White Oak and an installer of IBM equipment at Westinghouse for MAI Equipment Company. He was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in White Oak; the McKeesport Lodge # 641 F & AM; The McKeesport Royal Arch Chapter # 282; McKeesport Commendery # 086 Knight Templar; Scottish Rite Consistory; the Scottish Rite Reception Committee; Syria Temple AAONMS of Pittsburgh; a member and past captain and president of the Syria Horse Patrol; Syria Temple Unit Organization; McKeesport Caravan # 4; past Trustee of Al-O-Mon Forest # 138- TCL; TCL Boom Ba Band and the White Oak AARP Chapter # 2294. Surviving are a daughter: Donna Pastors of Franklin, TN; 2 grandchildren; loving family members and cousins. Friends will be received on Sunday 7 to 9 PM at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home, Inc., 2703 O‘Neil Blvd, McKeesport, PA 15132, where Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM with Rev. I am hoping it was sold long ago. I just PM'd Smitty the daughter's info and phone number if he chooses to pursue it. If he bought it from the family, then so be it. If it was sold long ago, and that was my Grandfather/father's, I would love to be able to purchase it.
It is kind of sad though, he sounded like quite a man.
