Does anyone buy rolls of uncirculated peace/morgans on EBAY?

It seems there's always several uncirculated rolls or uncirculated morgan or peace dollars available on EBAY.

Does anyone out there buy ungraded peace/morgans by the roll? If so, what do you do with them? Grade them and sell separately? Add to existing date sets? Can someone get a good deal on these rolls on EBAY? Do you have a favorite seller?

  • Most of the rolls that you get will have been picked through already, so they generally aren't worth sending in the get graded.

A lot of the so called BU Morgan rolls are made up rolls of sliders or worse. Wouldn't touch any of them with a ten foot pole.

  • I have purchased some nice rolls, but only from one guy - Barry Stuppler at VPQ. All others have been low grade at best, and some scrubbed.
Luckily, the guy that sold me the scrubbed rolls had a no questions asked return policy.
I recently submitted a couple of 1889's from an "original" roll, and got them back as MS-64 from NGC. I also submitted
four 1887-O's from a roll to NGC and PCGS, and got back a 61 and a 62 from each.

  • I suggest contacting Wes with "Allgood Coins" in St. George, Utah

Couldn't ask for a nicer seller image
