How do you store your rattler slabs?

I'm starting to acquire quite a few rattler slabs and my storage method of laying them face up in my desk drawer isn't going to work much longer. I know that there are the PCGS black storage boxes but if they can be found they're quite pricey but is there any other boxes that the slabs will fit nicely in? The slabs measure 2.25"x3" so if I could find a box that measures 2.5" wide that would work for me. What method do you use?

Intercept Shield holders will hold ANY slab (I think) Then you keep em in the IS storage boxes an yer set ta go. And they keep the damn SCRATCHES off the slabs!!!!!

In the normal boxes between the regular size ones. The slot's a little big for them. So they rattle around in the box like they should. Probably should just rubberband them all in groups of 4-6 instead.

I store them in a Eagle brand case they holds 24 slabs coins. They are stored inside the case on their side.

Of course, the drawers won't close, since they're made for 2x2's. Lesson learned: know coins, then build the coin cabinet.

I don't have a problem storing PCGS rattlers, sent them all in for reholder.

I think coins continue to tone inside the rattlers, much more so than in the newest PCGS holders.

I store them in small zip lock bags, so they don't scratch each other.

I recently acquired 3 1946-D MS65 in rattlers. Whoever had them sure took care of them. Not a scratch or mark on either side over the coin and barely any marks else where. I put them in the small size ziplocks...like you receive regular slabs in sometimes. Then I put them in a blue box. Do the old rattlers hold up better from wear? I really was surprised at how clean they are.

They won't fit into an Intercept shield box. They still rattle around loose inside.

I use baseball card sleeve. Cut about 3/8" off the open end (not needed but it helps), place the slab inside and it fits right into the PCGS boxes.

I prefer to upgrade them where possible. But when I think that is unlikely; I just store them in the blue boxes in order of date between the newer slabs. Of course I toss in a small mouse once in awhile to keep them fed.
