Pic is too small for me (and I am not a main-vammer). Blowing it up pixelates too much for someone like me. Isn't every morgan pretty much a VAM anymore anyway? Just like the minnesota quarters....every one of them is different from the other (all the doubling)
I don't think that is a distinctly special variety, even though the crack through the D is quite noticeable. The 1921 folks should know in a heartbeat though.
Nope. Doesn't look like one of the ones I am aware of. It is very likely that there are no breaks (just cracks) or anything else significant to Leroy to merit a designation. Of course it is a VAM nonetheless in that case, just nothing except a 1 or 2, something like that. That said, I still tend to keep anything with a distinctive crack around. The reason is that if a break later occurred, having an early study piece is often quite useful. Also I believe we must, down the road, get away form the VAM approach and seriously catalogue all the dies and their pregressions (polishings, cracks, breaks, erosion, ....). If George and Leroy hadn't done (andLeroy continues to do) what they did, I doubt anyone would consider this other task possible.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
