photogurus: can someone modify a picture for me ?

I know it's possible to "tilt" a pic of a coin so it's circular again (as opposed to elliptical from shooting at an angle)

could someone adjust these two pics and mail them back to me image Thanks for your assistance image

Try it yourself. Go into Microsoft paint. Select All. Grab a handle (small blue dot) and drag the dot to whatever shape you like. Give it a try it is pretty easy.

I added a touch of sharpening (the photo was a touch out of focus) and a background:

I was gonna suggest Paint, too, since that is the only program I have that is capable of that, but I thought it was rather crude and unsophisticated next to all the Photoshop wonders out there, so I kept quiet. image

Yeah...photoshop is worlds ahead of paint for doing such things...but of course if paint is all a person has or can afford, they must do with what they have.

  • ok, i get it now. You're actually distorting the photo side to side (or top to bottom) to try and bring the coin into a more round shape.

i thought you were asking for someone to actually rotate the picture forward from the top to bring the surface into a more parallel view as if the shot was straight on.
