photogurus: can someone modify a picture for me ?

  Try it yourself. Go into Microsoft paint. Select All. Grab a handle (small blue dot) and drag the dot to whatever shape you like. Give it a try it is pretty easy.

  I was gonna suggest Paint, too, since that is the only program I have that is capable of that, but I thought it was rather crude and unsophisticated next to all the Photoshop wonders out there, so I kept quiet.

  Yeah...photoshop is worlds ahead of paint for doing such things...but of course if paint is all a person has or can afford, they must do with what they have.

  ok, i get it now. You're actually distorting the photo side to side (or top to bottom) to try and bring the coin into a more round shape.
  
  i thought you were asking for someone to actually rotate the picture forward from the top to bring the surface into a more parallel view as if the shot was straight on.
