Will PCGS grade these planchet flaws on bust halves??

I was reading their grading standards and it states they may not grade coins with minor planchet flaws. The black streaks, both obverse and reverse are planchet streaks. Will this keep this coin from being holdered??

    Hi Wisconsin, I'm Joe.

I personally think the reverse is a clear sign that the original skin has been stripped off of this coin by dipping.
For that reason alone, the coin will be tough to get into PCGS plastic, unless of course, they take up my marketing idea and slab problem coins into COASTERS for Drinks image

    Whatcha think ?

I won't even invoice HRH & Co. for the idea ! It's my contribution to the ending of the BODY BAG and the cointinuation of collectibles ~

    great coin, by the way.

I don't see why planchet streaks like that would keep the coin out of a holder?

As twosides2acoin stated, the planchet streaks are the least of that coin's problems. It will not slab at PCGS......although I have seen stranger things happen.

    BTW, I like it.

I've also seen worse planchet flaws in early US coinage holdered but that coin appears to have a harsh cleaning problem.
  • I know the coin looks bad in the pics. It has been obviously dipped, but has good luster and no signs of an abrasive or harsh cleaning.
