Well, it does look like it was in someone's old drawers, perhaps after a trip to Taco Bell for more napkins.

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

Just for fun I put some coins in the oven once and couldn't get anything like those colors. I only tried clads and nickels and they all turned a dirty golden brown color. He must use something like a pottery kiln or treats them with something before he cooks them.

And it is a 1998 nickle, so it is not that old.

To get them this color, saute with a bit of evoo, onion, and garlic until soft. Toss with al dente penne and top with chopped parsley and freshly grated romano. Wrap in an old newspaper and store for one year. Remove the mold and you have a beautiful "natural" rainbow toned coin.

Whatever!!! How can get away with this without say AT.

I had my friend at the FBI convert the image of his fingerprint into a 3-D texture conversion and then run it through their system. You will be shocked to know that the person holding the multi-colored Jefferson is our very own Russ. image

I think the tone is from his nasty finger prints. DO you see how he is holding that coin.image

My question is, do those clowns have the right to put the PCGS value guide in their auction listing like that?
I've seen this done before, but always wondered if it was kosher image

    I love the line:

PCGS PRICE LIST ADDED FOR YOUR REFERANCE USE IT IF YOU LIKE

and there is no 1998-P value in there anywhere.

Hey with his Kennedy it was in a sock drawer in newsprint, with this one it's under a coal miners clothes,... how long do you think until it's stored next to a nuclear plant?

I never could get the oven to work but the burner element with a cup of cold water close at hand to cool them fast works wonders.

The picture in the link are a couple I did a few years ago while just messing around after someone mentioned what heat would do. They are taken through the mylar and are much brighter in hand. The quarter on the right is a vivid electric blue.

    Warning..AT
