Has anyone had any 20th Anniversary SAE's body bagged from an unopened box?

I read where some people found milk spots on theirs when they opened the package. And some other people said their coins came loose. Has anyone had any 20th Anniversary SAE's body bagged or graded really low from an unopened box they sent to PCGS because of spots or other problems? image

I don't know that's why I asked the question. I did ask if anyone got really low grades too. I know it's probably a dumb question to some people but I learn stuff by asking questions. I hope that's OK. image

    Hi Samuel.

I don't think any body bags have come from these submissions. Coins coming out of the capsules was a known problem, but apparently no sharp edge has damaged the coin, thus far.

The dumb questions are still residing in dumber people's brains.

    Happy day !

Good question, I thought about this myself. You really do have an option to send back the coins to the mint if you are not able so see them first. My SF Gold Commemorative was out of it's capsule and floating around in the holder when I opened it. It will be going back to the mint before 11/16 and I will ask for another one in it's place.

I wonder if Dr. Spock would think that this is a logical way to submit coins to PCGS?

More likely Spook would wonder in the logic of submitting coins period.

No, but my NGC multy Holdered set has an SAE RP that has a black burn like spot on the rim to the right of in GOD we Trust.
The mark is on two spots of the rim in this area and extends into the field and over the word GOD. It is graded PF 69 image
