I got my grades today and I'm not one of the fortunate few.

    BUT

    I am real happy with a pr69dc a pr69 and an ms 68

I can't wait to see them

I sent them in as first strike and I haven't even seen one yet.

Ding! There's your Post of the Week, folks.

Well, I know who owns 2 of them.

I convinced a friend that the gold and silver sets would be a good deal. He bought some. He is now proud owner of 2 of the 6 listed Silver Reverse Proof 70's !!! He's still waiting on the gold grades.

I'm still waiting on my grades, but I better be nice to him in case I need to do some horse-trading image
  • I just got my second order, of 5 sets. I sent in my first 3, without looking at them first. In the carton I got today, I did find all the capsuals loose. The only damage I see is 1 small scuff mark on one of the holders, not the coin.

I do see lines in the frosted field on the reverse proofs. That must be a product of the die finishing. As it is the same on all the coins. I don't know if this has anything to do with the low number of 70s.
It seems like a pattern set up by the finish. seen mostly to the right of Liberty.

I don't know. All I can say is, I'm glad I didn't spend my money on a gold buffalo. As much as I like the buffalo design. I like eagles MUCH better.
(Old man) Look I had a lovely supper, and all I said to my wife was, “That piece of halibut was good enough for Jehovah”.

(Priest) BLASPHEMY he said it again, did you hear him?
