1878-s anybody know double eyelid vams?

The eyelid Nose and chin are Clearly doubled The Fourth star is Broken and there is a glob of metal in the loop of the second 8

It has a b2 rev R not broken O in god doubled at bottom

  • Th eagle's right wing (viewer's left) where it connects to the leg is usually the key to attributing the 1878-S series. There are a few VAMs that would fit this obverse description but the wing should pinpoint it. . .

    The wing looks like that of VAM 31, which shares the obverse with VAM 29, which matches the features you describe on the obverse. This is a better 1878-S VAM, IMO. . .
