A pile of "Free" coins.

These were all found over the last 18 months or so. The Morgan is the only silver dollar I've ever found with a metal detector. It's an 1883 S, wish it was 10 years newer.

<< <i>You've found lots and lots of Barbers, I guess we would hear you all over the country if one of the dimes was an 1894-S! Congrats. >>

Well, I suggest you keep looking. They made 24 and we only now where about 9 of them are; that means there's around 15 somewhere unless they've been melted.

I mainly hunt old yards and construction sites in the old part of town. Sidewalk renewal in the old business districts are usually good.

Did somebody say "sidewalk renewal in the old business districts"? The sidewalks in front of Old City Hall in my hometown have just been taken up! Old City Hall was built in 1886, if I remember correctly.
Guess where I'll be and what I'll be doin' when the sun comes up and I get off from workin' graveyard shift?
