5 of my 10 sets just went to in stock also. Yeah. I hope I have as much luck as I did with the gold sets.

Ordered 3 on 8/30 7:00 pm and they are in stock and reserved.

Ordered 3 on 8/31 at 4:30 pm still show 12/8 date.

    Half way there.

PS: I saw the silver set at the Westford coin show and I love the Reverse Proof.
Much better than any pic I have seen.

  • i ordered 10 sets split in 2, one for 4 sets and one for 6 sets so i can get some graded and keep some in original packaging. i placed both orders within minutes of each other and one is reserved and the other says ship 12/08. i take it when cancel box disappears they were shipped? are these the same as the AGE where you can get first strike as long as box is unopened?

Alright, maybe I will just ship them to PCGS so I don't have to think about it anymore. I really want to see the reverse proof in person. I missed that option with the gold by selling them in the box.

I sent in my first 3 without looking. Then came home and found out about the loose coins, and wished I hadn't gone for that stupid "First Strike" label.image

I say go ahead and open it.

I'm certainly going to look at my next 5 sets.

Now the "cancel" box is gone and my CC has the pending charge. I should have them soon. I sure hope they don't have any spots.

Only problem is you can't get the 20th Anniversary label on two of the three coins if you open them.

  • << <i>Only problem is you can't get the 20th Anniversary label on two of the three coins if you open them. >>

I think you can get the 20th Anniversary label as long as the US Mint shipping box is unopened. You can not get the Frist Strike label on 2 of the 3 coins though. I think this is correct, anyone else know for sure?

If I remember correctly if you open the box there would be no way for PCGS to know if you swapped the proof or the -W Circ for others that are available. i.e. you can't open the box if you want the anniversary label.

I ordered one of mine by check, says ordered 9/12 via email confirmation, still reads backordered, ship 12/08, also says In process, but cancel box is still available, funny how with the 2 piece AGE fiasco, when I called to cancel they said "In process=can't cancel."
