Speaking of a market slowdown......

I have had more barter or trade offers for coins lately from people interested in obtaining a coin from me than at anytime I can remember.

Are lots of people overextended?

Has the pullback in precious metals put enough of a damper on spirits to cause people to look at their holdings more rationally?

Your inisghts please...
And I ain't lying this time.

    no

they are gaining a more experienced and cristical eye and only want to buy better scarcer coins
and want to trade out of their prior purchases to get something better

    with a combo of

    better quality
    scarcer
    more historical
    older pre 1915

    coinage
  • They've wised up--they'res no reason to have 400 common ates sitting around when you can' remember why YOU HAVE THE COINS, antway!.

I'd say smart dealer's put their trading shoes on right now!!!

Many may be spending too much on modern US Mint products.
