.

LeeG is 49 years young. Congratulations Lee.

This is no small accomplishment; he's been collecting/posting long eneough to kill anyone.

.

We all know Lee is biased toward copper. Please post your copper in honor of a Navy Vet., a collector, a forum member and heck; just a good fella. Thanks. jws.

Happy Birthday Lee - ex-Navy also. Here's one of my nicely struck coppers for you to look at. Brown copper has so much more character than those boring old red things. They all look so alike!
Hope you enjoyed the day.

First off,

I need to confess something.........

As someone just getting back into the hobby, and on occasion having more money than brains; I'd decided to start acquiring some toned classic commems. I'd purchased a couple of real nice pieces, but all the purchases were done "in hand". I tried to buy one from Lee earlier but someone beat me to it.

Sometime later I finally was able to buy one of Lee's coins. He shipped it promptly and packaged perfectly; and it was for a very reasonable price. When I had the coin in hand I realized that while it was a beautiful coin; that the toning had a different look than my others. It wasn't Lee's fault; nor the pictures as they represented the coin well. It was my fault for not taking the time to really know what I was looking at. At any rate, Lee would only be satisfied if I was completely happy. He ended up taking the coin back with such professional courtesy and grace. Truly, I am

about the whole thing. Plus, I'm probably dumb as I'm pretty sure the coin was worth more than I paid.

At any rate; from my point of view, Lee is TOP NOTCH, and this forum is lucky to have such a guy around.

Happy Birthday Lee !!!
