Question about Morgan dollar
I sold a coin on ebay in a NGC holder and the buyer wants to send it back because of pvc damage. I didn't see anything wrong with the coin when i sold it, but i told him if he wasn't happy to send it back for refund. My question is what does pvc damage look like because i thought it was a green color on the coin and he says it has a milky look to it.

Do you still have an image of the coin in question?
Coin holders, which contain PVC, such as soft vinyl flips have Plasticizers mixed with the PVC that can damage coins over time, causing greenish "PVC" damage.
I don't think NGC will even grade a coin that has exsisitng "goo" on the surfaces.
