i pretty much don't use 'em anyway, & i usually surf w/ images turned off, so no, it don't bother me.

I think, yes, it's disagreeable if all someone posts is the agree icon and that's it. I think that's lazy and of not much contribution.

If someone uses the

icon along with some expansion and/or clarification of why they agree, I think that person is honorable and intelligent
