Is this Morgan 7/8 tail feathers?

I really don't know anything about morgans but this one was just given to me and I think it's a 7/8 tail feathers. Am I right on that? Also what grade do you think it is. It has almost full luster with some rubs and rough hits on the check image. The tone i'm pretty sure is NT and not as dark as it looks in the pic. What do you think?

    Yes it is!

    Looks to be AU.
    When in doubt, don't.

Is there any additional value added for the variety or is it fairly common?

I'd say 7/8 tf, strong, au53-55. There are endless VAMs for 1878 date and if you wanted to know, I'm sure someone here could tell you which one yours is.

Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.
