It posts when your order is entered into the system. If you don't write the service level (economy, regular, express, whatever) on the outside of the box, it goes to the end of the line. I always address mine as PCGS (economy) for example. It speeds up entry enormously.
This is only my 4th submission so I'm still a rookie.
I also neglected to write the submission level on the outside this time.... my mistake. I'm not in a rush, but will just feel better knowing that they physically have it.
I've noticed that writing your submission level on the outside speeds things up by a couple of days even if you are doing eceonomy, quarterly special or what ever.

I NEVER write the service level on the outside of my package. It is ALWAYS in the system 3-4 days after mailing. Who told you that whacko story about going to the end of the line!?!?!?!
If it seems like it is taking longer than normal, that often indicates it is a "problem submission" (forgot payment, your membership expired, number of coins doesn't match invoice, etc.) and those can sit forever b4 they contact you. So it's best to check w/them if it seems untimely.

It's true, and it even says in the directions with the invoice to write the level on the outside of the box, skippy.
<< <i>Have you checked your USPS Tracking? At least you would know if it had even been received your package.
And Yes, writting the Submission level does speed it up even though I always seem to forget that part! >>
I agree with this one.
You should have sent it Registered, thus you have a number and all registered numbers can be tracked on line. You don't need the extra delivery Confirm. form.
Also, Monday was a USPS Holiday, so no mail moved.
I sent Thursday Oct 5th from Arizona to CA (pcgs). Has not arrived yet.

Hoping like heck I can snag my first 70 on this one
Did I ever mention just how professional, talented, good looking and smart those PCGS graders are. They should probably all get big raises and extra vacation time every year.

That's what I thought until I checked my submission "across the street." USPS says the package was delivered on Monday morning and the submission was entered as "received" the same day I don't understand it, but it's true. - Preussen

Packages have been known to sit for awhile after arrival, give customer service a call
and verify it's there and when it will be entered.
