Reminiscent of, but not to be confused with, the 2005 D:BigRig52's 2005 D post

Found in a roll from the Philadelphia mint.
Bag marks all over these nickels; no wonder this one's mintmark is P image

    I got one also but it's a denver mint.I just sent it in for grading..

    My guess is that the 2005 D is from the die, but the 2005 P is just a scratch from another coin in the hopper. Funny how it would scratch the coin just so, though. Bob, if yours is from the die, that's even more curious. I remember that two people from your original post noted that they had seen one too but not kept it.
