I was at Ocean City last weekend (what a great time to be at the beach) when I found out about the coin show this weekend. Shoulda have scheduled my vacation to include the show!

I used to go to this show when it was in the Baltimore - Washington area. O.C. is just too far away and too out of the way to make the trip. I'll save my money for the Baltimore show next month.

I was there. The show was about 45 tables or so. The retail crowd was very strong this year but primarily for items under $300. The public in attendance was also doing a lot of selling. I had one of my best buying shows ever (but again it was primarily small ticket stuff).

This is the second year for the show in this location. Last year there were more dealers and less public. A number of dealers disappointed with last year's show did not come back this time. On the other hand, the public attendence had built considerably making it a nice combination for the smaller group of dealers in attendance.
