That is sad, Doug. I am tempted to put an ebay ad up by copying this list and just listing them there. Offer a reward for the return of them intact, etc. It would not hurt, and guess what ? ... We might catch a thief and at the same time, get the word out via cheap advertising... start at a penny with the winner getting a reward after the return of the items.

The only problem with that, it lets the 'crooks' know that the certification numbers are recorded and the "crackout" game beginsimage

Best bet, is wait and see if any coins go on auction at eBay. Sometimes the "crooks" aren't the brightest light bulbs in the room.image

Some nice coins among them for sure. That's how a stolen coin report should look. Now since this was form Heritage, if they were auction lots, they might reference them for the images in case they got cracked out.

I don't spy any Buffalo nickels on that list so the loss can't be that bad. image

Seriously, what was the total value?

Sounds like some confusion in the Heritage packaging room. I sure can't see this being auction lots won by a single bidder.
I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.
