The mini Mantle was inside of the Papelbon card. When I ripped open the Papelbon, I removed the Mantle.

I now have the Papelbon shell (in great condition, I removed the Mantle carefully) and the Mantle mini.

hmmm good question..lol...I have started it but must control myself..hahaha.. going to the tristar show in kansas next month and may pick up some more boxes there, went to the kansas show a couple yrs ago...and got to meet joe montana and get is auto on a jersey. Which is now framed and hanging in the sports room along with all the brett favre goodies.

If anyone has joe or brett cards they would like to part with shoot us a list and we will let you know what we need.

Looking for oddball, base, inserts and graded(joe)
no base cards on brett, just looking for inserts and anything graded

I'm sorry, I don't have duplicates of the ones you listed. I see that you are so close and that's way cool. Good luck. It will take me time to fill out the blacks and A&G backs (decided to do all three minis, except the Bazooka. Too expensive).

I have a general question about the Bazooka backs. I think I opened 9 or 10 hobby boxes and didn't get any. Were they only available in the Retail or blaster boxes? I hope so and not just that I had terrible luck.

Probably just bad luck. Odds are 1:125 Hobby packs and 1:266 Retail packs.

Would you happen to be collecting the minis? I still need a bunch for my "regular backed" set!

I'll say. It looks like I had Retail odds with Hobby boxes. Actually, I just bought my last box (the addiction has to stop) this morning and got a Guey 17/25. First and last one. Pretty amusing, I have to say. On the flip side, out of those ten boxes, I did get a rip and Original bird card, so I suppose it goes both ways.

I had some disappointing collation so I need 103 cards for the base set (and I only got 4 GU cards, no autos or Bazookas or plates or woods or anything special like that, still kinda bummed out). I also need 18 SPs, but for about $1.50 each I can get 16 of them off ebay, so I am down to 2 SPs and 11 Perez sketches.

Let me know what you need ... I'm sure we can work out some sort of deal. It'd be great if you had access to acquiring the A&G backs I need (local shop or something). I've got Bazooka backs and other stuff I'd be open to dealing to you as well. Basically, I just want to finish my A&G Back set.
