Someone to add to your BLOCKED BIDDER List on Ebay..Crazy rant emails added!.

this guy....wilsontb777

12 bid retractions and counting

2 on one of my current auction this week alone. Finds how much the top bidder is willing to go. then cancels all his bids completely. A clear violation; I've reported him and blocked him from future auctions. First one Ive had to block this year.

I did a search on his recent auction bids, very similar pattern, bidding way over the top then cancelling all his bids. He's also won a lot of higher priced items this way. A real jerk in my eyes.

It's always disappointing to check your auctions and see a big jump, then 20 minutes later a bid drop...
image

Fortunately the auction will do just fine without him.
Have a nice Sunday folks.

Regards
Leo

Please don't be so F@@K%@$ upset. I've been looking for a nice complete wheat set for quite some time. As the bidding got way too high and I was overbid...I got too excited...I withdrew my bids so it would disappear from my bidding screen. I then decided; after some more thought...that I really wanted your set...very nice coins in the pictures. But you have to know that I've spent over $18,000 on coins here in Ebay in just 3 weeks.

You see; I have mental disabilities - Obsessive-Compulsive-Disorder and Bi-Polar Disorder. I've not been messing with your auction at all and if you will notice that I have 100% approval rating. All negative feedback was removed...why don't you have another look at the 100 super-positive feedbacks that I've had. I know it's unfortunate; but the bidding for your pennies goes on and is at a very good level. Please understand that I am still looking for a complete set; it just got too expensive at this time.
    (This really got me)
I do not have a job; stay at home all day (am not psychologically able to work) and this ton of money will have to be paid by my wife from her earnings. There's more to the picture than you painted in your e-mail and I'd appreciate it if you would unban me...I promise that I won't be bidding on the pennies anymore; but if you have some nice coins in the future - I surely don't want to be left out. Again; I'm sorry if I upset you and apologize from my heart. Please understand that there are people like myself with psychiatric disabilities; just as others with physical disabilities and we all need a little help and understanding. >>>>>>>>>>>>

If it is true, hopefully his wife doesnt shoot him when she gets the credit card bills. Thats not the point; he isn't someone I want bidding on my auction; its unfair to the other bidders. Plus you risk receiving one of his swear laden feedbacks if he doesnt take his meds. Personally I think its a total crock and he is trying to blow smoke up everyones ass. A few more retractions and he is going to get tossed.

If it's true the issue goes way beyond $18K spent on "pennies".

While I agree about blocking him (for his own good too) I disagree with the sort of tone used to in practice ridicule somebody less fortunate.

Just got home from work and checked my email, I had (3) from this guy!

    First email:

<< <i>I want to buy this coin; why have you BLOCKED ME?!?!?!? >>

    Second email:

<< <i>For whatever reason you blocked me; I've never bid on any of your items, you did not write me to notify me that you were going to block me...and it is against Ebay Policy to block another without first notifying them. If you do not unblock me; I will report you to Ebay. >>

    Third one:

<< <i>Since you blocked me without any notification and I want to buy item #150038514156 (1915 PCGS MS62 MS 62 Gold Quarter Eagle $2.50 Indian); I have filed a Complaint with Ebay Customer Support and hope they can get to the bottom of this. >>

    My (1st) response:

<< <i>Hi Tom! I really don't know what the problem is, I just finished double checking my blocked bidder list and YOU are not on it (and not very many people ARE)! You don't make MY list unless you've screwed me around one way or another and as you said, we've never had any dealings with each other before, so maybe it's a glitch in the system somewhere??? It's happen before, on two separate occassions that I can think of. Just FYI: To the best of my knowledge, As far as reporting me to eBay goes, there's not much they can do as it is NOT against ANY eBay policy for a seller to block ANYONE ... for ANY reason (even though you are NOT blocked now or have you ever been blocked). I've been working since 5AM this morning and I just got home. In the future, it might be a good idea to show a little patience when it comes to email responses and not be so quick to jump the gun before you actually know what's going on. My coin is still for sale so if you'd like to purchase it, feel free to give it another shot and see what happens, if not, that's fine too. I apologize for any inconvenience, but as to WHY you were unable to complete your purchase is beyond me? >>

Just received a third email from him:

<< <i>Hey, Sorry I came across so harshly...I get that way in the evenings...I will try again to purchase the coin...unless someone else already bought it. >>

    My 2nd response:

<< <i>Now that I've had a chance to read [ALL] of your emails, and taking into consideration the fact that you couldn't wait for a response before you filed your so-called complaint, you can now officially consider yourself BLOCKED! I checked your feedback and noticed 18 recent bid retractions, so this tells me you have a tendency to change your mind quite often... and I do believe that excessive bid retractions IS against eBay policy! I don't need the headache. File a complaint on THAT! >>

    and now a fourth:

<< <i>Gee, thanks alot. Did you know that I've also BOUGHT or WON over $18,000 worth of coins here in the last 3 weeks? Forget the bid retractions, I have 100% approval rating. Many of the retractions were because I was overbid on items and wanted them to disappear from my bidding screen (why not; if someone else overbid me?) >>

I gave him the benefit of the doubt (and I want to sell the coin) so I responded with this:

<< <i>Sorry Tom! I guess everyone has a bad day once in a while, and when I read your email about filing a complaint, I guess it just hit me wrong. I take crap from idiots I work with all day long, and when I get home, I find email saying I've had complaints filed against me for something I know absolutely nothing about, it has a tendency to not sit well with me, ya know what I mean? I've taken you off my list, feel free to make a purchase if you so choose. If you've already changed your mind, I understand, enjoy your day! >>

I think the guy just thinks he's found a way to work the system. As for the obsessive compulsive stuff, I find it hard to believe that anyone with a disorder would tell you that they had one. If something was wrong with me (besides what my ex-wife thinks) I'd be too ashamed to ever tell anyone.

However, if this guy speaketh the truth and he's run up 18K in bills wifey has to pay, he's gonna be a member of the ex-wives club too.

THIS IS one you definitely need to put on your nut case list.

First of all, before I share the guy's ID, I GOTTA tell ya, when I first came to eBay in 2003 this ASS made me pay for what truly was a wrong amount entered. I didn't know how to retract a bid back then and instead of entering $100 I erroneously entered $200 and got hung for it.

I learned from the experience NEVER to ever bid your MAX early as the little helpers will climb up your back side pushing and pushing till they get top buck for their buddy. There used to be bidding wars right out the blocks just 4 years ago and now everybody just sits on their hands, waiting till the last possible moment to actually try to bid and win MANUALLY for as cheaply as possible while others have their snipers set to go off with seconds left to go in the auctions. Valuable lesson learned. Yeah it cost me a couple potatoes but in the end, the lesson learned was well worth it.

Now, with that in mind, this is the same dumb-ass, THE FIRST to ever approach me trying to sell me something off eBay as he "happened to notice that I was the underbidder on one just like his!" This was long before legitimate Second Chance Offers (which BTW, I DO offer from time to time especially if the underbidder placed a strong bid and lost by just one increment.)

For this type of activity he was caught because one too many people got spammed by this clown. He eventually got the boot by eBay for fee circumvention (fee avoidance) for a couple years and NOW...... he's back!

OK ... so with all this in mind, now that you are up to speed, I just had a listing (NOW GET THIS) that started at $9.99 .... OK?

Check this bid and lame ass excuse he has for retracting a bid on an item that sold for considerably more than the opening bid: This monkey brained flunkie had the following reason for retracting a bid on an item that opened at $9.99. WHAT WAS HE THINKING. Oh, that's right! He doesn't think because he's an idiot!

    Bid retraction and cancellation history

Bidder Action / Explanation Date of Bid and Retraction
    vegas*2000( 761) Retracted: US $10.00
Explanation: Entered wrong amount Bid: Jun-03-07 15:51:00 PDT
    Retracted: Jun-03-07 15:51:59 PDT

ONE MINUTE AFTER placing a $10.00 bid on a $9.99 opener, he retracts his bid FOR ENTERING THE WRONG AMOUNT??? imageimage What in the Hell is this? It's friggin' insanely stupid is what it is!image

Do yourselves a favor and block this dummy. image

By the way, click HERE and we'll know in a matter of seconds whether or not he is telling the truth about having purchased over $18,000 worth of coins on eBay with in the past 30 days! NOT!!

Just a quick glance and I don't see but maybe a tad more than $2000. Maybe he meant $1800, Right! image

Hey, but look at the bright side. At least he pays but then, it's certainly NOT all Lincoln Cents either. image

Edited to say, was he saying he spent that amount in September 06, or recently?
