grade my peace dollar (first try at imaging)

It's my first try at imaging a coin here so it isn't the best image. I am looking to get a camera with a nice macro function.

    I say EF-45... How did you make that picture ? Camera ? Scanner ?....

    I scanned the coin then resized the scan.

    It looks like it could be an EF-AU.

    But scans are among the most difficult of images to 'grade' from. Images in general are no substitute for the coin in hand.

    Has it any lustre left?

    how many dpi did you scan at ?
    mine starts at 100 and you can adjust to whatever...

    EF mabye a low AU depending on how acurate the photos are.

    At least EF, I think. It might be a little better (low AU) but I can't really tell for sure from this image.

    I scanned at 200dpi

    The coin is actually toned and has a nice reddish/yellow shimmer to it. I wish I could relay that image to you guys but my skills are lacking. In hand it looks xf to me but I am a novice grader.
