Should I be receiving some free grading vouchers now that my order is LATE ?

I submitted this order via Express service.....regrades. Express is a 5 day gaurantee, correct? How many vouchers for express service should I receive, 6 ?

You receive one voucher for each day late up to a maximum of the number of coins on the submission.

Actually, your submission is not yet late. You are on day five and will be on day five until Monday.

No. Clock starts the day after it arrived, which made yesterday the fifth day. Today through Friday are blackout days for the Long Beach show, and the weekend never counts. Thus the clock is stopped until Monday.

You should not be preparing for receiving vouchers. You should be preparing to learn why your clock runs differently than that of the TPG.

I'm sure I'm missing something but isn't the Wednsday the 6th day 1 & the 7th day 2 & the 8th day 3 & Monday the 11th day 4 & Tuesday the 12th day 5?

Meaning grades were due YESTERDAY and if posted anytime between now & Monday the 18th, are 1 day late?

Aren't the balckouts from 9/13-16?

So I would say you have AT LEAST 1 free voucher coming (ONLY 1 as of now).

Today is one day late if PCGS reports being received on 9/5. Then if nothing on Monday, that's 2 days late.

I didn't realize Wed-Fri were black out dates......but agree that grades were due yesterday.

I would think the clock starts on the day it shows as received into their computer.....which is 3 days after they signed for it at the post office....but I guess those days don't count.

Correct. The clock starts on the (FIRST NON-BLACKOUT) day AFTER they show it as logged into their system. In a strange way that sorta makes sense because they want to start counting on the first FULL day it is there (since some things probably get logged in up to & including near the time they close for the day).

Of course, THAT quirk could easily be made more transparent by just adding 1 day to all guarantees & counting the day it was logged in as day 1.

Nope, today is a blackout day. If it posts on Monday, then it is 1 day late. If it posts before then, then it will not be considered late.

That may technically be correct, but I'd bet dollars to donuts that PCGS will argue otherwise.

Tuesday was day five and they have until the end of day five to post the grades. Problem is Wednesday is ALSO day five, as is Thursday etc. If they get the grades posted by Sunday evening they will have been posted before the start of day six and PCGS will count them as being within the guarantee period. Even if they don't post until Monday and you are a day late, don't expect to get a voucher without personally going after it. Your not likely to get vouchers from them automaticly.

I was incorrect in my previous post. The above information is correct. You did not get grades posted by the end of Day 5, Tuesday. Now, Monday will be the end of Day 6. I have heard that you need to go after vouchers.

I would have called PCGS first
