2005 Toned Lincolns

Whats up with the 2005 Lincolns?? I take all of my change, and toss it on my driver seat in my car... and usually every few days, I gather it up, and toss it into my water jug. I have noticed however, that most of the 2005 (and only the 2005) end up toning to some crazy red and blue colors by the time I get to them. They look absolutely amazing just after a few days. Is it something in the penny (I dont think they were made of a different composition then) or is it something in my a*s?

    Yes, im lazy. they fall out of my pocket (i own a boat restoratoin business and am commonly in swimming trunks). and they just sit there for a few days until enough gather up and I pick them up and put them in my change jug.

    I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.
