  The rush of acquisition is a huge part of the hunt. Problem is that it doesn't last until the next target is spotted.

  Yes, and that excitement (still after 35 years of collecting) is what keeps me in the hunt and in the hobby!

  Absolutely. Especially if I discover that some coin in an auction is the Crosby plate coin, no one else knows it, and I buy it for a song.
