The following proof coins represent a huge range of size and weight in British coinage. The coin on the left is a Maundy 1 pence of 1911 with a diameter of only 11 millimeters while the coin on the right is a "cartwheel" twopence of 1797 with a diameter of 41 millimeters! Needless to say, the twopence weighs quite a bit more. The choice proof Maundy 1 pence goes to the first YN who determines (within 1) how many of those 1 pence pieces would weigh as much as the twopence. (One guess only by noon EST on Sept 2).

That didn't take long! Yes, "notlogical," it would take about 113 of the little .5 gram pence pieces to match the weight of the 56.7 gram twopence. PM me with your info and off it will go!
