    Sorry it was intended to be sarcasm. Based on the two previous threads claiming 3rd party grading at anacs and ngc has lost all credibility based on one coin.

    And yes tha is there new attempt at truview.

    Yes the pics are really dark. These are some bad photos, but show more of the true color of the coin.

    Lets just say I be asking for a refund on the pics for NGC.

    wow, those photos suck. They cost extra? I am a terrible photographer and that looks like what I could produce.

    If no one else has noticed...that coin was tooled.

    Look at the upper part of the shield on the first image. I really don't collect Seated material, but since when was cross-hatching on these coins ?

    Also, "LIBERTY" looks like it was stregnthened.

    Why must some idiot screw around with an otherwise decent looking coin ?

    For that matter, when someone stole the Mona Lisa out of the Louve ( c: 1914 ) I'm surprised they didn't paint a moustache on her !

    I don't think it was tooled...more like a photo compression image. When a pic is converted to jpg, it can sometimes happen if the lines are not square and perpindicular to each other.

    Ahhh...once again, its almost impossible to grade from images.

    ( still looks cross hatching to me though ) If its original, then based on the amount of wear, I'd grade it AU 55.

    If it were original, then why call it a POS ?

    Well yeah, that NGC's pic is a POS. My scan probably can do a better job.

    I wouldn't ever try to figure out ANYTHING from NGC's pictures. They truly suck, and I would be embarrassed to offer images of that quality as a "professional service", I don't care how cheap they are.
