  Nice thought, but I do hope the ASE stays around for a "silver jubilee" 25th anniversary issue in 2011.

  I just don't see them giving them up yet. The Mint has finally realized in recent years that it is in fact a "money factory" and can make lots of profit from us collectors. And they will keep profiting from that. The American Eagle coins are way too popular to give up on yet. Look at how many of the proofs have been sold....
