Ahhhhhhh...it's nice to be just a plain coin collector...

and not have to worry about the effects of toned coins on my "investment" as a lot here do...It seems to me, and I could be wrong..the "collectors" are pretty quick to forgive, while the investors want a hangin"....

Are you an automated reply program that simply spits out random quotes? I've seen 8 or 9 of your most recent posts and they are just one line quotes.

Apropos of the coin posse/aka caca: "The longer he spoke of his honor, the tighter I held to my purse."
I don't hate anyone for doctoring. If I want to, I can do anything that I wish to my coins. After all, they do belong to me.
It's when I take a coin and involve an unwitting accomplce (read PCGS here) in my deed and try to pass it off as something it isn't is where I have crossed the line.
I think the hobby was hurt the past few days. Go to the next major show and I'll bet you will hear jokes and punch lines about OGHs. I don't think PCGS will let this slide if they can help it.
I have to say though, I've always believed that toning was over rated and given way too much credence. Maybe now we can get back to some sort of sanity as far as toned coins are concerned.
On the bright side, this was probably good for the "collector", such as me.
