no more pics, no more debates....................I guess I can turn off my laptop now
Family, kids, coins, sports (playing not watching), jet skiing, wakeboarding, Big Air....no one ever got hurt in the air....its the sudden stop that hurts. I hate Hurricane Sandy. I hate FEMA and i hate the blasted insurance companies.
291fifth...you are kidding, arent you? This is some serious sh*t here, and you want it to just stop? The impeccable reputation of a knowlegable collector has been so riddled with bullets, and just about permanently damaged, it isnt funny...BUT he DID bring it on himself. Remember, he sold some of these to FORUM MEMBERS....cmon man, get serious...this isnt going to disappear unless PCGS boots ALL the threads, and THAT wont happen, not on this one.....deal with it, cause it aint going away any time soon. Look at all the questions coming up from this one incident...people want answers, and now, have questions that might likely NEVER have been asked from those of us on this forum...

Actually, I'm not kidding. It amazes me that, with all the threads on toning that have been on this forum over the past several years that anyone would pay a premium for toned coins. It's a topic I'm really tired of reading about.
291fifth..I fully agree with you on the paying premiums on toning thing. I have never really gotten into toners, though some DO look fantastic. At this point, I am extremely glad toners are really not my thing, and now, wont ever be. As far as a topic not wanting to be read about any longer, this HAS to stay around, as a lesson to ALL of us. NOOONE is immune to getting caught up in something when multiples of $$ can be had just for a few colors...again, some DO look great, and silver can tone to AWESOME colors, but all in all......ask MOC if this was worth it. He should have known it wasnt, and this thread wouldnt exist.
